Take garden tour through PC

Horticultural expert will be on hand during annual Arts Council fundraiser
The third annual Garden Tour and Tea will take place from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 11.

The tour will begin at the Erie Dearie Park on Perry Street where tour maps can be picked up for participants viewing the nine featured gardens.

The Tour and Tea will benefit the Port Clinton Arts Council under the auspices of the Port Clinton Chamber of Commerce.

Mike Collins, horticulture expert will be available to answer questions regarding flower gardens, shrubs and trees growing in the north central region of Ohio.

With more than 20 years of horticulture experience Collins can assist with garden and landscape design giving major attention to conservation and preservation of natural resources.
Bring questions to the "Ask Mike Booth" after the tour at the Friendship Park on Perry and Jefferson Streets.

Tea and cookies will be served on the lawn of the Erie Dearie Park along with musical entertainment beginning at 1:30 p.m. and concluding at 3:30 p.m.
