Henry VIII's gardens to open at Hampton Court flower show

Flower Festival kicks off Wednesday

By Bo Poertner/Managing Editor

It’s been a tough year for the Flower Festival Association, but the show will go on.
The 57th annual Flower Festival opens Wednesday and runs through Sunday at Ryon Park, highlighted by the festival parade Saturday morning, the midway carnival, and the Flower Show on Saturday and Sunday, June 28 at the Anderson Recreation Center, 125 W. Walnut Ave.

Office Manager Lacey Porter allegedly admitted to police that she took the money, but pleaded innocent to the embezzlement charge. She is expected to appear in court again soon after the Flower Festival ends.A successful festival would help ease the association’s pain, but won’t solve all its problems, Beltran said.
