A decades old traditin , the annual Jackson High School Horticulture Holiday Show will take place on Monday, November 21. This year's show will offer holiday wreaths, plants and poinsettias for sale, made and grown by the students of the high school's Horticulture class. Prices for the poinsettias will be $6.50 and the wreaths are priced from $26 to $40.
The horticulture class is a career tech program at Jackson High School. Students can work towards greenhouse technician, florist or landscape and nursery certifications. Plus, they receive 12 credit hours that transfer to higher education providers.
