Heirloom tomatoes

Amy Greacen wrote in a recent Oakland Fresh Foods Examiner article on heirloom tomatoes. In comparison to the ubiquitous supermarket variety, an "heirloom" tomato is technically an old, open-pollinated variety and not in commercial production.
