During the summer many home gardeners worry about how their plants and vegetables will fare while they are gone. A few quick preparations and precautions will leave your lawn and garden looking well after you return from short trips. In general, try to generally weed and water everything. Lots of weeds in the garden will look like no one is home. If there are any newly planted trees or shrubs, mulch them well. Aside from the plants, put away garden tools, ladders, or any other equipment that might “walk away”.
