Uttarakhand, December 23 (ANI): With the Christmas and New Year round the corner, farmers in Uttarakhand cultivating ornamental flower Gerbera are eagerly looking forward to cashing in on the festive spirit. These farmers are already reaping rich dividends from Gerbera cultivation in the region. The central and state governments are promoting cultivation of Gerbera by offering subsidies through the National Horticulture Board and the states national gardening board.
