39th Annual Horticulture Night set for July 30
Garden tours, horticultural demonstrations, hands-on family activities, special activities, picnic, music, art, a farm tour, and an educational trade show will combine to create the 39th annual Horticulture Night. Open Days garden tours set for Sunday
The Garden Conservancy's Open Days Program will feature a tour of five private gardens in Bedford Hills, Bronxville, Cortlandt Manor, Larchmont and Scarsdale. No reservations are required, and the tour will take place Sunday, rain or shine.
Visitors may begin the tour at any of the following locations: the garden of Phillis Warden, 531 Bedford Center Road in Bedford Hills, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Premium Pond Garden, 10 Pryer Lane in Larchmont, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; or the garden of Fran and Alan Zimbard, 91 Penn Road in Scarsdale, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Directions to the additional gardens will be provided.
The cost is $5 per garden, free for children younger than 12. For more information, visit www.opendaysprogram.org or call 888-842-2442.
