Green thumbs up: Plant versatile vines for colorful flowers that attract hummingbirds - Kingston, MA - Kingston Reporter
Few moments in a gardener’s day compare to the thrill of watching a hummingbird hover at your flowers. For several weeks, this wondrous little bird has been a regular visitor, darting about my gardens several times a day in its quest for nectar and tiny insects to sustain its remarkably high rate of metabolism. Suspended in midair among the flowers, our smallest bird appears to be dancing on puppet strings as it probes each tubular blossom.
